Splash park fun

We so love the new Splash Pad at the Riverfront park!! It is nothing special...but it's great enough to cool off and keep the kids entertained. Oh, and did I mention they expel so much energy running and playing that they almost sleep all night long! ;)

More Camping...Photo Overload

We went camping again last week. This time with Tia Norma and the girls (Gracie, Triana, and Paula). We had so much fun, and of course, the children LOVE having more children to play with!!

The "day after" celebration

There was a carnival at the park this weekend for the 4th of July. We decided to check it out yesterday because for starters it was about 10 degrees cooler out, plus we thought it might be less crowded. There was practically NOBODY there...it was GREAT!! And Jazmine had a blast! She went on most of the rides alone, but was grinning from ear to ear!! Isaac was scared of the rides, so he sat on the sidelines, but had a blast when we wandered over to play at the splash pad.

4th of July

4th of July we had family over at the last minute. We enjoyed some great BBQ'd steaks, watched a movie since it was sooo hot outside, and went to the park up the road to watch the fireworks. The children had a BLAST!!! Jazmine kept trying to reach out and grab them and Isaac kept saying over and over "That cool fireworks. I like fireworks. That so cool." Here is Jazmine wanting to look fancy in her dress, and the children playing around at the park waiting for fireworks.

Beach Trip

Grandma Doris came to visit this week! By Wednesday when it was supposed to be well into the 90's, we decided that was the PERFECT TIME to head to the beach. On the way we stopped at this little place that offers pony rides. Every time we drive by it I say "one of these days we'll stop", but this time Grandma made sure we did! Jazmine was way excited and couldn't wait to get on. Isaac, well, he was less enthusiastic. He finally got on, but wouldn't let go of either of mine or daddy's hand until the ride was almost over.

Here is a little Marching Band Entertainment. It was so windy out that we came back to the room to take a nap. And the children wanted to be a Marching Band instead.

Their excited little faces in the car just to be going to the beach.

And a perfect day for playing.
