My camera is on it's very last days, but here are a couple of my favs over the last few days. Isaac and his adorable smile, and Jazmine and her love of dressing up!! I can't even imagine my life without them!!

Isaac's Stitches

So the other day, Isaac tripped and hit his face on our round coffee table. After a few minutes of a little too much blood for my taste, we decided we needed to be seen by a doctor. After an evening in the ER, Isaac came home with 5 stitches. One on the inside because it was so deep at that point, and then the outer four to hold it together. I do admit, after living in the Seattle area and having Children's Hospital to go to if anything happened, the level of service at an everyday hospital definitely left something to be desired. Here is the little man as soon as we got home, and then the next morning when the swelling really set in! (My poor baby....)

The last two days have been rough...Isaac and his temper tantrums, too much "outside" stress, and Jazmine getting cranky when Isaac is cranky! UGH!! So to make myself smile, I thought I'd post a couple more pics that make me laugh. Oh, and I will also share that just as I was getting frustrated because the children weren't falling asleep tonight, I heard Jazmine's precious voice singing "Twinkle Twinkle" to Isaac as they both drifted off to sleep. Another reminder to keep it simple and find joy in the journey!

More Classic Jazzie Mae

One of the worst parts of the puppy in an apartment is that I can't just let him outside. I must take him out, despite the weather, so we can take a leisurely stroll. (*sarcasm*) Well the other day I put his leash on to go out and Jazmine said she wanted to go. I told her no, she wasn't dressed, and that I would be right back in. (I take him right out front, so they can see me through the window, and I can see them.) When I walked back in, Jazmine told me she was ready to go outside. This is what I saw.....

Now Isaac isn't as quick as Jazmine, yet, although he had managed to put shoes on. Just don't tell daddy that they were Jazmine's pink princess shoes....

One of my favorite things is that I never know what my two beautiful children are going to do or say. Here they are from the last couple days....Isaac is just currently fascinated with doing whatever he thinks will make you laugh. The more you laugh the goofier he gets.


Jazzie Mae, on the other hand, does love to intentionally be silly to make you laugh. However, here she is only for HER entertainment. This is her "Astronaut" outfit.
